The first community jazz band and choir concert was a great success even if it was cut short by a thunderstorm.

Kick off the summer season next Friday night with a free community concert. This is a fun way to support our musicians while engaging in the community.

Monday 5/21 @ RMHS Cafeteria. Doors open at 6:30 pm / program begins at 7:00 pm. This event is for all RMHS Orchestra students and their families. We celebrate everyone’s achievements over the course of this year. Attire for the eveing is nice clothes.

The last concert of school year is one week away. Concert starts at 7pm on Thursday 5/17 in the RMHS Auditorium. This is also our last fundraising opportunity of the year. Funds raised will be used to buy instruments. Credit cards can be used for your donation.

This event is for all band students and their families. We acknowledge students for their achievements from this school year and announce student leaders for 2018-19. You must purchase your ticket for dinner ahead of time by clicking here: http://www.rmhsmusic.org/banquet/. Senior students eat for free – though you still need to purchase a ticket so that we have an accurate head count. Please have your tickets purchased by Monday 5/14 by the end of the day so we can order the right amount of food.

The Banquet for Concert, Jazz, Symphonic & Marching Band is in 2 weeks. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets are $10 and will include a 3-Taco dinner with rice and beans. Senior students are free. Tickets will be available soon.

Happy May 1st! This means we are finishing out the year in the Instrumental Music department with a number of events. Check the calendar and the website for updates as the month goes on.
